About Us

Parakosmos is Greek for ‘realm of imagination’; for me it’s the space where I create contemporary, barefoot luxury weddings of different sizes and styles throughout Portugal, the Greek islands, Lebanon and beyond. Inspired by my couples’ stories and sensibilities, I approach each celebration with a genuine passion for people, hosting and perfecting of the smallest details. With an emphasis on quiet elegance, my aesthetic and style of work are effortless – often evoking feelings of warmth, intimacy and balance. As a meticulous planner with a design background, I love nothing more than getting inspired by your dreams and bringing your big visions to life.

How It Works

When you inquire with me we’ll have an informal virtual meeting where we can get to know each other, and I mainly listen, to get a deeper understanding of the ideas and wishes you have for your day. From there I create a personalized proposal from the different tiers of services I offer and a quotation tailored to your wedding.

Always charming and smiling. No request was too much trouble! Hanine handled all the details of our special day so professionally allowing us to enjoy the festivities worry free.

They were very accommodating to the changes that we made. On the day of the event everything ran smoothly and they solved all issues before we could even notice (a whole macarons tower collapsed and they managed to reassemble it immaculately and in time for the dessert table). We couldn’t have asked for better planners! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone for planning weddings (or other events!)

We were so grateful to have Hanine coordinate our day and we couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out. She looked at our space in the months leading up and knew exactly how to make it work for our reception. She has a real creative eye for styling and is super organised she practically built our budget sheet and timeline for us and helped us with things we didn't even realise we needed so it was a relief having her. To finish off she gave us a beautiful card and gift to congratulate us as newly weds.. I don't think there's many out there like her!
